My Journey & European Roots

Music is my life. Educated in the rich European classical music tradition, I bring a deep understanding of classical piano technique, music theory, and pedagogy to Midtown Toronto families. 

My early experience performing at regional and international piano competitions, where I won top prizes, taught me how to guide young musicians from their very first notes to the joy of performing with confidence.  From the very beginning of my musical journey, I was guided by the legendary concert pianist and renowned university piano professor Prof. Mary Kavkaleska–Stoilkova. Every nuance of touch, technical precision, and deep emotional expression I pass on to my students today is thanks to her meticulous guidance. 

A Multidisciplinary Perspective

Alongside my musical path, I developed a deep passion for structure and storytelling. As a Master of Architecture and Urbanism and a published music-arts journalist for a Canadian magazine, I bring a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to fine arts education. I teach children to "read" musical scores like a beautiful blueprint, which dramatically accelerates their spatial reasoning, logical thinking, creative problem-solving, and cognitive focus

At Home in Midtown Toronto

 As a proud resident of Yonge and Eglinton for 11 years, I am deeply connected to this vibrant community as a trusted mom, friend, and neighbour. My ultimate goal is to empower children to become independent, confident pianists who can naturally read, understand, and express music on their own.

My motto is simple: Music enriches life; it should be a part of our everyday lives, helping us become better people and achieve greater heights.  

I don't believe in rigid pressure, but I certainly love celebrating high achievements! Through a customized, high-efficiency strategy, my students comfortably earned First Class Honours as well as First Class Honours with Distinction, completely stress-free. Our track record shows that with the right leadership and high energy, our students naturally achieve top marks while having a wonderful time! 

Premium Acoustic Experience in Studio (Versatile at Home)

In my studio, every single lesson is taught exclusively on an acoustic piano. I want every student to feel the real depth, weight, and resonance of live strings right under their fingertips. Experiencing this acoustic touch from day one builds unmatched control. It ensures that when they step onto a grand stage for recitals or exams in beautiful concert halls, they feel completely confident and at home with any piano they touch. What about home practice? You absolutely do not need an acoustic piano at home to start! Digital pianos and electronic keyboards with weighted keys are fantastic, highly encouraged, and perfect for your daily practice routines.

My studio is filled with warmth, high energy, and laughter. I completely replace rigid pressure with positive motivation, creating a safe space where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and discover their authentic musical voice. 

Real Musical Independence

My goal is to make students fully independent musicians. I teach them how to decode music, understand theory, and even figure out their favourite contemporary songs completely by ear. They leave with real stage confidence that lasts a lifetime.

Perfect Record on the RCM Exam! 

My brilliant student has successfully passed the prestigious Canadian RCM Level 1 exam, officially earning a high grade with First Class Honours! 

What makes this an absolute miracle is the time frame: Total time in my studio: only 9 months of one-on-one lessons once a week, with much less time for exam preparation. This incredible milestone proves that trust, true leadership, high energy and dedicated work can produce world-class results in record time.

Celebrating Our Latest Piano Recital Success! 

Our recent piano recital at the Church of the Transfiguration was a beautiful celebration of dedication, talent, and hard work. Watching the children from our neighbourhood walk onto the stage, overcome nervousness, and proudly share their music on a grand piano was truly magical. A massive round of applause to all our parents for their ongoing support!
